Installation

,QVWDOODWLRQ VKRXOG EH SHUIRUPHG E\ D TXDOLILHG WHFKQLFLDQ
DFFRUGLQJ WR WKHVH LQVWUXFWLRQV DQG ORFDO FRGHV
1 - Carefully remove assembled fireplace from packag-
ing and place in desired location.
2 - Lift and remove the bustle; in flush-faced model
applications, remove the top panel; in louvered-
face model applications, remove the louvers.
3 - To gain access to the firebox: open the metal screen or
the bi-fold doors; or lift and pull out the bustle and the
bottom panel (or louvers), and raise and pull out the
glass panel.
Remove logs from firebox. Remove protective wrap and
position logs as shown in figures 7, 8, or 9. Logs are
notched to accommodate burner tube, pilot assembly
and each other. Handle logs carefully.
4 - Place ember material as shown in figure 10.

5 - Secure appliance to floor using fold-down tabs on the

sides of the fireplace. Additional holes for securing

screws are also provided in the base of the unit under

the firebox.


6 - Lay the brickaded floor cover on the fire box floor
loosely fitted around the front and sides of the burner
tray.
7 - If optional bi-fold glass doors or glass panel is to be
field installed, install per instructions provided with
kit. Close protective screen or bi-fold doors or lower
glass panel.
