• Do not overfill the kettle.
There is a risk of scalding due
to water possibly bubbling over.
Please refer to the operating
GB instructions or the level indica-
tors on your appliance for the
maximum filling level.
• Use the kettle only with the
corresponding base unit.
• Do not use the kettle without
the limescale filter strainer.
• Do not use the kettle without
the lid.
• Do not open the lid while heat-
ing.
• During use, parts of the kettle
become very hot. Avoid touch-
ing these parts and avoid con-
tact with the hot steam.
• After use, the surface of the
heating element still has residu-
al heat. Avoid contact with the
inner surfaces of the device.
• Always unplug the unit from
the power supply before assem-
bling, disassembling or cleaning,
and when not under supervi-
sion.
• Never immerse the kettle in
water.
• Do not allow the power cable
to come into contact with liquids.
• Do not use the kettle if the
power cable is damaged.
• Do not clean parts that come
into contact with food with
aggressive cleaning agents or
scouring milk. Remove deter-
gent residues with clean water.

Before first use
1. Ensure that the power supply in your home
corresponds to that on the model plate on the
base of the applianc.
2. Connect the base unit to a power source. Unused
cable can be stored in the base of the appliance .
3. All kettles have been tested during production to
ensure they work perfectly. Therefore there may
be remaining water deposits. Clean the appliance
before use by boiling the maximum amount of
water twice.
Usage of the electric kettle
1. Open the lid by pressing the button . Lid is not
removable.
2. Fill in needed amount of water. The water amount
is readable on the water level scale on right and left
side of the handle .
• Do not fill the kettle beyond the maximum
capacity (Capacit max. 1,7 l).
• Do not put kettle into operation without water.
