9. Removing the separation claws
(I)
Remove the upper cover of the fixing assembly.
(See Fig. 4-80.)
(2) Remove the fixing roller cleaner felt to protect it
from dirt.
(3)
Remove the screws, release the catches, then re-
move the upper cover of the fixing assembly.

( 4) Remove the screws, release the catches, then
remove the upper delivery guide.

(5) Remove the four springs.

(6) Remove the front or rear E"ring holding the
shaft, then remove the separation claws.

Cleaning
Wipe with lint-free paper or a soft dry cloth.
