Installing the "AX Remote Editor"

For Windows XP users

Close all software running on
Windows.

Insert the supplied CD-ROM into
the CD-ROM drive of the PC.
After a moment, "InstallShield
Wizard" of "AX Remote Editor"
appears.

Click [Cancel] to close
"InstallShield Wizard" of "AX
Remote Editor."

Connect the PC and the Remote
Commander using the supplied
USB mini cable (page 19).
The "Found New Hardware" message
appears in the Notification Area in the
lower right-hand of the display. After
a moment, "Found New Hardware
Wizard" appears.

Select "Install the software
automatically [Recommended]",
then click [Next].
Installing of the USB driver starts. The
"Completing the Found New
Hardware Wizard" display appears
when the installation is complete.

Click [Finish].
Installing of the USB driver finishes.

Close all software running on
Windows.

Insert the supplied CD-ROM into
the CD-ROM drive of the PC.
After a moment, "InstallShield
Wizard" of "AX Remote Editor"
appears.

Remote Editor."

New Hardware Wizard" appears.

The "Install Hardware Device
Drivers" display appears.

Select "Search for a suitable
driver for my device
[recommended]", then click
[Next].
The "Locate Driver Files" display
appears.

Mark only the check box of "CD-
ROM drives", then click [Next].
The "Driver Files Search Results"
display appears, and the found driver
is displayed.
