manual thoroughly and retain it for

About This Manual
The instructions in this manual are for
models TA-FE910R, FE710R, FE610R,
FE510R, FE310R, and FE210. Check
your model number by looking at the
rear panel of your amplifier. The TA-
FE910R is the model used for illustration
purposes unless stated otherwise.
Any difference in operation is clearly
indicated in the text, for example, "TA-
FE910R/FE710R/FE610R only."

Check that you have received the following supplied items:
• Remote commander (remote) (1)
For TA-FE910R/FE710R/FE610R: RM-S316
For TA-FE510R/FE310R: RM-S315
• Sony batteries SUM-3 (NS) (2)
Inserting batteries into the remote
Insert two size-AA (R6) batteries, matching the + and - on the batteries with
the markings inside the battery compartment. When using the remote, point
it at the remote control sensor g on the amplifier.

When to replace batteries
With normal use, the batteries should last for about 6 months. When the remote
no longer operates the amplifier, replace all the batteries.
Notes
• Do not leave the remote near an extremely hot or humid place.
• Do not drop any foreign object into the remote casing, particularly when replacing
the batteries.
• Do not expose the remote sensor to direct sunlight or lighting equipment. Doing
so may cause a malfunction.
• If you don't use the remote for an extended period of time, remove the batteries to
avoid possible damage from battery leakage and corrosion.
