    Getting Started Hooking up the system Perform the following procedure 1 to 5 to hook up your system using the supplied cords and accessories. Surround speaker (Right)* Front speaker (Right) * MHC-RG60 only 1 Connect the front speakers. Connect the speaker cords to the SPEAKER jacks as shown below.

    Hooking up the system (continued) When carrying this system Perform the following procedure to protect the CD mechanism. Make sure that all discs are removed from the unit. Hold down CD and then press ?/1 until “STANDBY” appears. When you release the buttons, “LOCK” appears.

    Loading a CD Press Z OPEN/CLOSE. The disc tray opens. Place a CD with the label side up on the disc tray. When you play a CD single (8 cm CD), place it on the inner circle of the tray. To insert additional discs, press DISC SKIP EX-CHANGE to rotate the disc tray.

Radio Data System (RDS) is a broadcasting service that allows radio stations to send additional information along with the regular program signal. This tuner offers convenient RDS features like station name display and location of stations by program type.
