Using Memory Stick Media

Your Sony computer is designed to support the new Memory Stick IC
recording media. The Memory Stick card is a small, versatile device that
allows you to share data between various types of Sony equipment.
Your system comes with a sample 4 MB Memory Stick card for you to try.
This Memory Stick card contains images saved from a Sony digital
camera, which supports Memory Stick media. When you insert the
supplied Memory Stick card, the PictureGear
application launches automatically and allows you to view the images.
See the supplied Memory Stick card package for more information on
Memory Stick card use, including information on how to create your own
slide show.
If using a Memory Stick card that does not contain Sony digital camera images, your computer
automatically launches Windows Explorer. This allows you to view the contents of the Memory
Stick card.
Once you have created a slide show, you cannot rename the files in the slide show using the
Windows Rename function. To change the name of a file in a slide show, follow the
instructions on the Memory Stick card package.
