On safety

When you carry the supplied rechargeable
battery, be sure to put it in the supplied
rechargeable battery carrying case Carrying
the rechargeable battery without the case
may cause a short-circuit with metallic
objects such as coins, key rings, or necklace
As a result, a heat may generate

Incorrect battery usage may lead to leakage
of battery fluid or bursting batteries To
prevent such accidents, observe the
following precautions:
-Install batteries with the + and - poles
aligned correctly
-Do not charge dry batteries

If a battery leak should develop, carefully
and thoroughly wipe away battery fluid
from the battery compartment before
inserting new one
On installation
Never use the player where it will be
subjected to extremes of light, temperature,
moisture or vibration
On handling the "Memory Stick"

When the "Memory Stick" erasure
prevention switch is set to "LOCK," data
cannot be recorded, erased or edited (m)
