Select to customize the Parental Lock with
downloadable digital ratings.
Clear All Select to clear the downloaded ratings.

banner indicating the availability of the new

Custom Digital Rating settings.
Unrated
Allow
Allows progr:uns and movies that are
(al'ailable onh, in U.S.A.)
broadcast without a rating.
Block
Blocks all programs and movies that are
broadcast without a rating.
Change
Password
Select to change your password.
Select Country
U.S.A.
Select to use U.S.A. ratings (see below).
Canada
Select to use Canadian ratings (see page 70).
To deactivate the parental control feature

Set Rating and Digital Rating (if available) to Off when in tile Parental
Lock setting.
To change the password

In the Parental Lock setting, use the arrow buttons to highlight Change
Password, and press @ to select it.
Enter a new four-digit password using the 0-9 buttons.
Confirm the new password by entering it again.

Press MENU to exit the setting screen.
Viewing Blocked
Programs
You can view a blocked
program
by entering
the password.

Press ENT when tuned to a blocked
program.
Enter your password
using the 0-9 buttons.
Parental
Lock will be canceled
temporarily
until you turn your TV off.

Parental guidance suggested.

Parental guidance for children under 13.
R
Restricted viewing, parental guidance is suggested
for children under 17.
NC-17
No one 17 and under.
