At the core of UNIVERGE UM8000 is a full featured voice mail, unified
messaging, and auto-attendant system; it provides users the ability to
access and manage their voice, fax, and e-mail from a desktop PC, a
touchtone phone, or the Internet. These advanced Unified Messaging
features give users access to their voice, e-mail, and fax messages when
and where they need it. The initial release of UM8000 is designed to
support the new SV8100 and SV8300 IP PBXs and to meet your business
requirements as a stand-alone Unified Messaging solution, or a multi-site
network, UNIVERGE UM8000 is the solution for your business.
The UM8000 embedded design allows organizations to easily deploy
messaging solutions designed to best fit their needs and create their own
customized communication solution that is reliable and scalable. The
UM8000 ranges from 2-port configurations to 16-port configurations per
system. Some of the optional modules available for the UM8000 are:
Text-to-Speech (TTS), ActiveFax, and Visual Messaging for Microsoft
Lotus Notes, and Novell GroupWise Clients.
