SETTING BURNER OPERATION

Make ombustion measurements and
shutter adjustments per table 10 Combustion results from
table 10 are for natural gas models
Pro eed with CO2 test of the ue gases with an Orsat or
other similar ombustion test equipment If the CO2 ontent
is within range (see table 6) no adjustment of the air shutter
is required Flue gas temperature and CO2 measurements
should be repeated 3 times to ensure a urate readings
Che k the ue gas temperature ahead of the barometri

Che k bree hing pressure and the barometri damper ontrol
to make sure it operates freely and there is no dis harge of
ue produ ts into the room
Che k main burner operation by y ling on and off the
thermostat dial several times Wait 1 minute between y les
for regulators and sequen ing to reset
When all adjustments are satisfa tory
Fill in part no 196793 Start-up form
Adjust thermostat temperature dial to deliver desired water
temperature at point of use
