DESCRIPTION
The AARMN4019 and AARMN4032 Medium Weight Headsets
with Noise Cancelling Boom Microphone are useful when the
operator is exposed to extreme noise level conditions. These
headsets can also be used to maintain privacy in two-way radio
conversations. Additionally, these headsets facilitate
hands-free use of the radio. The AARMN4019 includes an
in-line Push-To-Talk (PTT) switch for easier PTT access.
Wearing the Headset
To minimize interference and optimize headset performance,
wear the radio and headset so that the accessory cord will not
cross over or touch the antenna. The headset fits comfortably
over the head and can be adjusted to fit most head sizes.

OPERATION

Attaching the Headset to the Radio
1. Turn the radio off.
2. Remove the side connector cover from the side of the radio,
attach the headset connector to the radio, and tighten the
thumb screw to secure the connection.
3. Turn the radio on and adjust audio volume to a comfortable
listening level.
Receiving
When the headset is connected to the radio side connector, the
radio's speaker is muted, and the audio is only heard from the
headset speakers.
