The remote control lets you operate this product at a distance.Just aim the front of the remote
control at the photoreceptor window situated on the front panel and press the appropriate
buttons.
Inserting the Batteries

The remote control operates on two R03 (AAA) 1.5
volt batteries (included). If the remote control does
not operate or fails to function normally due to weak
batteries, new batteries can be purchased at elec-
tronics or camera stores.

Open the battery cover. (Remove any old
batteries that may be
in the remote control.)

Insert new batteries and match their polarities
( + and-) with the markings inside the compart-
ment.

Replace the cover.
You can set clock and timer recordings using the remote control.

NOTES:
Do not subject the remote control to impact, water or excessive humidity.
The remote control may not function if the photoreceptor window of this product is in direct
sunlight or any other strong light. If so, move the product or alter the lighting.
Incorrect use of batteries may cause them to leak or burst.
Do not mix old and new batteries, or mix the brands used.
Both rechargeable and disposable batteries are available. Read the battery warnings and
do not try to recharge disposable batteries.
Remove the batteries if the remote control will not be used for a long time.
