2. Install two bolts and lock w ash ers. Tighten
firm ly.
3. Connect hydraulic line to brake cylinder
outlet.
4. Adjust push rod according to instructions.
5. F ill m aster cylinder reserv o ir and bleed
as n ecessa ry .
TILT CAB MODELS
Removal
1. T ilt cab forward and place a suitable con­
tainer under m aster cylinder to catch fluid when
hydraulic lin es are disconnected.
NOTE: DO NOT RE-USE THIS FLUID.
2. D isconnect hydraulic lin es from outlets.
3. Rem ove th ree bolts attaching m aster c y l­
inder to support bracket and rem ove m aster cy l­
inder assem b ly.

Installation
1. P osition m aster cylinder assem b ly at sup­
port bracket and guide push rods into p iston s. Make
certain that push rod boot is in p lace on push rod
and on support bracket. Attach cylinder with three
b olts. Tighten bolts firm ly.
2. Connect hydraulic lines to brake and clutch
cylinder outlets.
3. Adjust push rods as directed.
4. F ill m aster cylinder r e se rv o ir and bleed
brake sy ste m a s n ecessa ry.

ST135-70 under above heading in " Inspection and
Repair"
procedure
on page
reading "Do not hone m ore than n e c e ssa r y — "
should read "DO NOT HONE." If sc r a tc h e s or
corrosion spots cannot be polished out with crocus
cloth, cylinder should be scrapped and replaced
with a new cylinder.
