Attaching the Battery
1. Open the battery cover (K1).
2. Place the battery into the battery compartment
(K2) and push down until it clicks into position.
3. Place the isolator key (K3) into the socket (K4) in

Removing the Battery
1. Open the battery cover (K1).
2. Turn the isolator key to the 'off' position (L2).
Make sure your machine is switched off and the blade
has come to a complete stop before adjusting the
cutting height.
ATTENTION: The blades continue to rotate for a few
seconds after the machine is switched off. A rotating
blade can cause injury.
Your lawnmower is equipped with a central height
adjustment system, offering 5 height settings: 25mm,
35mm, 45mm, 55mm, 65mm.
Select the cutting height by locking the lever in the
desired position. Move lever outward, slide to correct
position, move inward to lock it again. From rear to front,
the adjustable height is from 25mm to 65mm. (Fig M)
Note : For the first cut of the season, a high cutting
position should be selected.

To Start your Lawnmower
The switchbox is provided with a lock-off button (N1)
to prevent accidental starting.
1. Press and hold the lock-off button (N) on the
switchbox, then squeeze one of the Start/Stop
levers towards the upper handle (P).
2. Continue to squeeze the start/stop lever towards the
upper handle and release the lock-off button (R).
3. Lower the lawnmower to its proper operating
position and commence mowing.
• NOTE - There are two start/stop levers fitted, either
one can be used for starting the lawnmower.
• IMPORTANT - Do not use the start/stop levers
intermittently
To Stop your Lawnmower
1. Release the pressure on the Start/Stop lever.
