A spark or flame can cause the battery to explode with enough force to kill or seriously hurt you. Wear protective clothing and a face shield, or have a skilled mechanic perform the battery maintenance.

    In the event of fuse failure, locate the cause of failure and repair it before you continue operation. If the fuse continues to fail, discontinue generator use and consult an authorized Honda servicing dealer. 1.Turn the MAIN switch to the OFF position and remove the key before checking or replacing the fuse.

    Fuel deterioration and oxidation can occur in as little as 30 days and may cause damage to the fuel system. Please check with your authorized Honda servicing dealer for local storage recommendations. Gasoline will oxidize and deteriorate in storage. Old gasoline will cause hard starting, and it leaves gum deposits that clog the fuel system.
