    OPERATION Controls The hood is operated using the (4) push-but- tons located at eye-level, on the front edge of the hood. The light switch turns the halogen lights on and off. The blower on-low / off switch turns the blower on to its lowest running speed.

    FUSE REPLACEMENT IF THE LIGHTS FAIL TO OPERATE, DISCON- NECT THE POWER AT THE SERVICE EN- TRANCE. CHECK THE FUSE AND RE- PLACE IF NECESSARY. 1. Remove the filters. 2. Remove the electrical box support. 3. Remove screws from the fuse box and open the cover.

    PREPARE THE HOOD Unpack hood and check contents. You should receive: 1 - Hood 1 - Decorative Flue Assembly 1 - Parts Bag (B08081189) containing: Flue Mounting Bracket Mounting Brackets Mounting Screws (4.8 x 38mm Pan Head) Mounting Screws (3.9 x 9.5mm Pan Head) Mounting Screws (3.2 x 13mm Pan Head) Mounting Screws (3.2 x 13mm Pan Head - Black) Drywall Anchors...

    Note: minimum hood distance above cook top must not be less than 24”. A maximum of 31” above cook top is highly recommended for best capture of cooking impurities. Distances over 31” are at the installer and users discretion; and if ceiling height and flue length permit.

  • Page 8: Install Flue Mounting Bracket

    INSTALL FLUE MOUNTING BRACKET 1. Carefully center the mounting bracket di- rectly over the range hood location. 2. Secure the bracket assembly to the ceiling using (2) 4.8x38mm mounting screws and drywall anchors. Make sure the bracket is pushed into the corner, tight against the wall and centered over the hood.
  • Page 9 PREPARE THE HOOD NON-DUCTED CONFIGURATION ONLY Note: On stainless steel hoods, carefully remove the plastic protective film from all exterior surfaces of the hood and decorative flues, prior to final instal- lation. Note: The following material must be purchased separately for non-ducted recirculation installations.
  • Page 10 PREPARE THE HOOD NON-DUCTED CONFIGURATION ONLY 7. Carefully place the lower flue into the recessed area of the range hood. 8. Carefully slide the upper flue down inside the lower flue. 9. Secure the recirculation plenum to the upper flue with (4) flat head screws. WIRING Note: This range hood must be properly grounded.

    INSTALL THE HOOD Note: at least two people will be required to mount the hood. 1. Raise the hood into its mounting position. 2. Align the rectangular openings on the back of the hood with the wall-mounting brackets. Gently lower the hood until it securely engages the bracket.

    INSTALL FILTERS DUCTED CONFIGURATION ONLY 1. To remove the GREASE filter, grip the latch tab and pull it down. This will disengage the filter from the hood. Tilt the filter down- ward and remove. 2. To install the GREASE filter, align rear filter tabs with slots in the hood.

  • Page 18 UTILISATION Commandes La hotte fonctionne à l’aide de quatre (4) boutons- poussoirs situés à hauteur des yeux, sur la face avant. L’interrupteur d’éclairage allume et éteint les lampes halogènes. L’interrupteur de ventilateur régime lent marche / arrêt fait démarrer le ventilateur à son régime le plus lent.

    REMPLACEMENT DU FUSIBLE SI LES LUMIÈRES NE S’ALLUMENT PAS, COUPEZ LE COURANT AU PANNEAU D’ALIMENTATION ÉLECTRIQUE. VÉRIFIEZ LE FUSIBLE ET REMPLACEZ-LE, LE CAS ÉCHÉANT. 1. E nlevez les filtres. 2.     INSTALLATION DU DOSSERET FACULTATIF Si vous utilisez le dosseret Modèle de série BSK6 offert en option, fixez-le au mur fini. Fixez les brides de montage au dosseret et omettez l’installation des pièces de charpente décrites ci-dessous. Remarque : Le matériel suivant doit être acheté séparément pour les installations sans conduit avec recirculation.

    INSTALLATION DES FILTRES INSTALLATION AVEC CONDUIT SEULEMENT 1. Pour enlever le filtre à GRAISSE, tirez la languette vers le bas. Le filtre se dégagera de la hotte. Inclinez le filtre vers le bas et enlevez-le. 2. Pour installer le filtre à GRAISSE, alignez les pattes arrière du filtre dans les fentes de la hotte.

    OPERACIÓN Controles La campana se opera usando los (4) pulsadores que se ubican al nivel de los ojos en el borde frontal de la campana. El conmutador de la lámpara enciende y apaga las lámparas de halógeno. El conmutador de encendido-baja / apagado enciende el ventilador en su velocidad más baja.

    REEMPLAZO DEL FUSIBLE SI LAS LÁMPARAS NO FUNCIONAN, DESCONECTE LA ENERGÍA EN LA ENTRADA DEL SERVICIO. REVISE EL FUSIBLE Y REEMPLÁCELO SI ES NECESARIO. 1. Quite los filtros. 2. Quite el soporte de la caja eléctrica. 3. Quite los tornillos de la caja de fusibles y abra la cubierta.

    PREPARACIÓN DE LA CAMPANA Desempaque la campana y revise el contenido del paquete. Debe recibir: 1 Campana 1 Conjunto del tubo de humos decorativo 1 Bolsa de piezas (B08081189) que contenga: 1 Soporte de montaje del tubo de humos 2 Soportes de montaje 8 Tornillos de montaje (4.8 x 38 mm de cabeza troncocónica) 4 Tornillos de montaje (3.9 x 9.5 mm de cabeza troncocónica) 4 Tornillos de montaje (3.2 x 13 mm de cabeza troncocónica)

    INSTALACIÓN DEL PROTECTOR CONTRA SALPICADURAS OPCIONAL Si se usa el protector contra salpicaduras Modelo BSK6 opcional, instálelo en la pared acabada. Fije los soportes de montaje de la campana en el pro- tector contra salpicaduras y omita el bastidor de la pared que se describe abajo.
  • Page 36 INSTALACIÓN DEL SOPORTE DE MONTAJE DEL TUBO DE HUMOS 1. Centre cuidadosamente el soporte de montaje directamente sobre la ubicación de la campana de la estufa. 2. Fije el conjunto del soporte en el cielo raso usando (2) tornillos de montaje de 4.8 x 38 mm y taquetes para placa de yeso.

Nota: se deben comprar los siguientes materiales para las instalaciones de recirculación sin conductos.

    INSTALACIÓN DE LA CAMPANA Nota: se requieren al menos dos personas para montar la campana. 1. Eleve la campana hasta su posición de montaje. 2. Alinee las aberturas rectangulares que se encuentran en la parte posterior de la campana con los soportes de montaje en la pared.
  • Page 40 INSTALACIÓN DE FILTROS SÓLO CONFIGURACIÓN CON CONDUCTO 1. Para quitar el filtro para GRASA, sujete la lengüeta del cierre y hálela hacia abajo. Luego quite el filtro de la campana. Incline el filtro hacia abajo y quítelo. 2. Para instalar el filtro para GRASA, alinee las lengüetas posteriores del filtro con las ranuras de la campana.
