Adding an Event to the Calendar

Your Calendar helps organize your time and reminds you of important events.
To add an event:
1. Press MENU/OK to access the main menu.
2. Select Calendar and press MENU/OK.
3. Select the day you want to add an event to and press Options (right softkey).
4. Select Add Event and press MENU/OK.
5. Select Schedule and press MENU/OK.
6. Enter the description and press MENU/OK.
7. Select the following items and press MENU/OK.
Description to enter a description of your event (up to 14 characters).
From to scheduling the start time.
To to schedule the end time.
Location to edit the location of your event (up to 14 characters).
Alarm to select your desired ringer.
Alarm Time to edit the alarm time (number of hours or minutes before the event starts).
Default alarm times are 10 minutes before.
Repeat to set the event's repeating status. Select None, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly.
8. Press Save (left softkey) to schedule the event.
Tip: Press the navigation key up or down to scroll by week through the calendar and the
Side Volume key to scroll by month.

Event Alerts

There are several ways your phone alerts you to scheduled events:
By playing the alert tone (depending on the Ringer Type and Ringer Volume setting).
By blinking the LED.
By displaying event's description on the Main LCD when the flip is open.
By lighting the LCD backlight (depending on the backlight setting).

Event Alert Menu

When your phone is turned on and you have an event alarm scheduled, your phone alerts you
and displays the event summary.
To respond to an event alert:
1. Press MENU/OK to silence the alarm and see the unchecked event list.
2.
Highlight the unchecked event and press MENU/OK to see the event details or press
Options (right softkey) for the following options. To select an option, highlight it and press
MENU/OK.
Snooze to repeat the alarm in 10 minutes.
Exit to exit the options.
Note: If you select Exit above and press MENU/OK, you are prompted to erase the
unchecked event. Select Yes to erase or No to cancel.
