Using Handsfree Speaker with
Flip Closed
1 Open your phone's flip.
2 Press and hold the speakerphone key to
turn on the speakerphone.
3 Enter the number you wish to call and
press N.
4 When the call is connected, close the flip,
and continue your conversation.
5 To end the call, press and hold the
speakerphone key. You will see Call Ended
and hear a soft audio alert.
Using the External
Display
When the flip is closed, you can use the
external display for the following:
• View time, date, and phone status
information.
• View message notifications.
Turning On Airplane
Mode
Note: Consult airline staff about the use of
Airplane Mode in flight. Turn off your phone
whenever instructed to do so by airline staff.
Airplane Mode allows you to disable your phone's
radio frequency functions and still use other
applications (such as the calculator or
datebook functions). This may enable you to
use these applications while on an airplane.
