When you take a photo in direct sunlight or in bright
conditions, shadows may appear on the photo.
Taking a Photo
1. Access the Take photo menu or press and hold
[
] in Idle mode.
The camera turns on and the image to be captured
displays.
2. Press [1] to select the camera mode until the
mode icon you want appears:
Single (
): take a photo.
Serial (
): take a serial of action stills.
Divided (
): take several stills and saves them
in one frame. Multiple stills will be saved as a
single image.
Video cam (
): record a video clip.
Mail(
): take a photo for adding to an e-mail.
After taking a photo, press <Send> to send
the photo as part of an e-mail.
3. Adjust the image by aiming the camera at the
subject.
4. Press <Capture> or [
When you are taking serial or divided shot images,
the camera takes photos successively.
5. Press <Save> to save the photo.
The phone saves the photo(s) in the My album
folder and returns to Capture mode.
Using options in Capture mode
When you press <Option> in Capture mode, the
following options are available for the current shot:
Some camera options vary, depending on the camera
mode you have selected.

Resolution: select an image resolution.

Quality: select an image quality setting.
Flash: turn the flash on or off.
When you press <Option>, you can use the
camera options.
