Can I replace the built-in rechargeable battery myself?
Do not replace the battery yourself.
The battery is built into the Walkman. Battery replacement requires professional knowledge and skills. Do not replace the
battery yourself.
The Walkman uses a designated rechargeable battery. Commercially available batteries cannot be used.
To replace the battery, contact the nearest Sony dealer or Sony Service Center.
For your information
The battery performance deteriorates due to the following factors.
The number of times you charge or discharge the battery.
How long the battery is used.
Usage environment.
The battery life can be an indicator for replacement.
When the life of a fully charged battery becomes half as short as normal, the battery should be replaced.
The battery can be charged approximately 500 times on average.
