Note: Check the Vibrate on touch check box if you do want the phone to vibrate when you
draw the pattern or enter the PIN.
Note: Touch Automatically lock to select the time duration before the screen lock feature
activates.
Note: Touch Owner info to enter your information to be displayed on the lock screen.
To change or disable the screen lock:
1. Press Home
2. Draw your unlock screen pattern, or enter your PIN or password and touch Next.
3. Touch None to disable the screen lock or change the unlock mode. Touch Slide to
return to the default lock pattern.
Encryption
You can encrypt your phone and the SD card installed in your phone. To decrypt, you need to
enter a PIN or password.
1. Charge the battery first.
2. With your phone connected to the power source, press Home
3. Touch System settings > Security > Encrypt data.
4. Select the target to be encrypted from Phone & SD card, Phone, or SD Card.
5. Read the message and touch Next.
6. Enter a PIN or password and touch Next.
7. Read the message and touch Encrypt.
Warning: Refrain from using the phone, including removing the battery and the SD card,
during the encryption process as some or all of your data will be lost if the
encryption process is interrupted.
Passwords
You can hide your password or PIN number as you type it.
1. Press Home
2. Clear the Make passwords visible check box.
