Electromagnetic compatibility:
Product complies with all applicable electromagnetic
compatibility requirements (EMC) according to IEC60601-1-2, for
residential, commercial and light industry environments.
Ensure that wireless communications devices (such as mobile
phones, wireless home network devices, cordless telephones
and their base stations, and walkie-talkies) are kept at least 3.2 ft

Limited warranty

ResMed warrants that your ResMed DC/DC Converter 24V/90W
shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a
period of 12 months from the date of purchase by the initial
consumer. This warranty is not transferable.
If the product fails under conditions of normal use, ResMed will
repair or replace, at its option, the defective product or any of its
components.
This limited warranty does not cover: a) any damage caused as
a result of improper use, abuse, modification or alteration of the
product; b) repairs carried out by any service organisation that
has not been expressly authorised by ResMed to perform such
repairs; c) any damage or contamination due to cigarette, pipe,
cigar or other smoke; d) any damage caused by water being
spilled on or into the product.
Warranty is void on product sold, or resold, outside the region of
original purchase.
Warranty claims on defective product must be made by the initial
consumer at the point of purchase.
This warranty is in lieu of all other express or implied warranties,
including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness
for a particular purpose. Some regions or states do not allow
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above
limitation may not apply to you.
ResMed shall not be responsible for any incidental or
consequential damages claimed to have occurred as a result
of the sale, installation or use of any ResMed product. Some
regions or states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may
not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also
have other rights which vary from region to region. For further
information on your warranty rights, contact your local ResMed

WARNUNGEN
• Vor Gebrauch die Gebrauchsanleitung lesen.
• Verwenden Sie den Wandler nur, wenn Sie Ihr Gerät an
eine Gleichstromquelle von 12 V bzw. 24 V anschließen
möchten.
• Verbinden Sie das S9-Gerät nicht mit einer
Gleichstromquelle von 12 V bzw. 24 V, während es vom
Wechselstromnetz aufgeladen wird.
• Versuchen Sie nicht, den Wandler zu modifizieren. Der
Wandler enthält keine vom Anwender zu reparierenden
Teile.

WARNHINWEISE
• Um einen ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb des Geräts zu
gewährleisten, darf der Wandler nur mit S9-Geräten
betrieben werden.
• Der Wandler ist zum Gebrauch an Systemen mit 12 V bzw.
24 V und Minus an Masse bestimmt (d.h. der negative
Anschluss der Batterie ist mit Masse verbunden). Beim
Gebrauch an Systemen mit 12 V bzw. 24 V und Plus an
Masse können das S9-Gerät und das elektrische System
des Fahrzeugs beschädigt werden. Wenn Sie nicht
wissen, ob eine negative Erdung vorliegt, schlagen Sie im
Handbuch für das Auto, Schiff bzw. das benutzte Fahrzeug
nach.
• Überzeugen Sie sich, dass der Wandler bei Gebrauch
nicht abgedeckt ist, um eine Überwärmung des Geräts zu
vermeiden.
• Der Wandler ist nicht zum Gebrauch in Flugzeugen
bestimmt.
Verwenden des Wandlers mit einem
Zigarettenanzünder
Siehe Abbildung am Beginn.
1. Bevor Sie den Wandler anschließen, überzeugen Sie sich, dass
der Schalter (A) auf Aus steht.
2. Legen Sie den Wandler auf einer ebenen Oberfläche mit dem
ResMed-Logo nach oben ab.
3. Stecken Sie das Anschlussende (B) des Wandlers in die
Gleichstrom-Anschlussbuchse (C) des S9-Geräts.
4. Ziehen Sie den Zigarettenanzünder aus der Buchse im
Fahrzeug.
5. Stecken Sie den Zigarettenanzünder-Adapterstecker (D) auf
dem Wandler in die Zigarettenanzünderbuchse des Fahrzeugs.
6. Das Lämpchen (E) auf dem Wandler leuchtet grün, wenn die
Verbindung hergestellt ist und der Schalter auf „Ein" steht.
Das S9-Gerät sollte jetzt mit Strom versorgt werden.
Wenn keine Verbindung besteht, blinkt das Lämpchen
andauernd. Es blinkt außerdem, wenn das Gerät bei
bestehender Verbindung im Standby- oder Energiesparmodus
ist. Bei schwacher Batterie leuchtet das Lämpchen orange
auf. Wenn das Lämpchen überhaupt nicht leuchtet, prüfen Sie
bitte, ob der Schalter am Zigarettenanzünder-Adapterstecker
auf „Ein" steht.
