Description
Configures which PIM neighbors to become adjacent
to based on a route-map policy
IP addresses to become adjacent to with the match
ip[v6] address command. If the policy name does not
exist, or no IP addresses are configured in a policy,
adjacency is established with all neighbors. The
default is to become adjacent with all PIM neighbors.
Note We recommend that you should configure
this feature only if you are an experienced
network administrator.
Purpose
Enters global configuration mode.
(Optional) Enables listening or forwarding of
Auto-RP messages. The default is disabled,
which means that the software does not listen
to or forward Auto-RP messages.
