Chapter 4. Remote Operation

Applying SSL Encryption

To secure sessions between the VP2730 and web browsers accessing the

VP2730's web interface, follow the steps below to apply SSL encryption.

1. Purchase an SSL certificate from a trusted certificate authority and save

the files to a computer with access to the VP2730's web interface.

2. Log in the VP2730's web interface as administrator, and then go to System

> Maintenance > Web Server SSL.

3. Click Browse File to upload the SSL certificate and its private key.

4. Click Update to apply the SSL encryption.
