Settings
With the Web configurator on your phone
you have the following options:

IP Configuration
Configure your phone access to the
local network (IP address, gateway to
the Internet).
You must enter the gateway and DNS
server via the Web configurator, in par-
ticular when assigning your phone a
static IP address. This is generally your
router.

Connections
Configure your phone for VoIP.
Download your VoIP provider's general
access data from the Internet to your
phone or enter the data yourself.
Enter the personal access data of your
VoIP account (VoIP phone number)
with this VoIP provider.
Activate/deactivate this VoIP phone
number as required.
The phone registers with the VoIP
server using the activated VoIP phone
number and can be reached at this
number.

Dialing Plans
You can activate and deactivate the fol-
lowing dialling plans.
– In VoIP calls, all numbers that do not
begin with 0 are automatically
assigned an area code.
Define this area code.
– The saved emergency numbers are
always dialled via the fixed network.
The saved emergency numbers are
displayed. You can enter a phone
number of your own.

Advanced Settings
– Specify port numbers that the
phone should use for VoIP
telephony.
– For VoIP, specify how DTMF signals
are to be transferred and/or con-
verted: either in voice packets or in
SIP info packets. DTMF signalling
isrequired for playing and control-
ling some network mailboxes, for
example. Ask your VoIP provider
which type of DTMF signalling is
supported.

Miscellaneous
Specify whether you want to be
informed about new firmware versions
on the Internet.
For the following firmware update, you
can specify the server/PC by which the
update should be carried out, and you
can also load new firmware to your
phone.
To diagnose VoIP connection problems,
display the VoIP status codes on your
handset.
