    ODS-300 SECTION 1. SAFETY Where information is of particular importance or is safety related, the words NOTICE, CAUTION, or WARNING are used. Their usage is described below: SAFETY ALERT SYMBOL is used with DANGER, WARNING, or CAUTION which indicates a personal injury type hazard.

    ODS-300 SECTION 2. ASSEMBLY PUMP AND TUBE ASSEMBLY PARTS. PLACE BRACKET WITH TUBE ADAPTER OVER THE TUBE THAT CONNECTS TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PUMP. REMOVE THESE PARTS AND DISCARD, THEY ARE NOT USED.
  • Page 7 ODS-300 APPLY TEFLON TAPE OR PIPE DOPE TO EVERY PIPE CONNECTION AS SHOWN. ATTACH TUBE WITH BRACKET AND ADAPTER TO PUMP AS SHOWN. CONNECT THE REST OF THE TUBING TO THE PUMP USING TEFLON TAPE OR PIPE DOPE. PLACE PUMP AND TUBE ATTACH HANDLE TO ASSEMBLY ON DOLLY.
  • Page 8 ODS-300 TAKE BLACK PIPE ASSEMBLY AND ATTACH TO TOP OF PUMP AS SHOWN USING TEFLON TAPE. TURN UNTIL TIGHT AND LINED UP AS SHOWN BELOW.

    ODS-300 SECTION 3. OPERATION 1. Remove cover from oil disposal shuttle and make sure crumb catcher is in place. 2. Remove filter drain pan assembly from under fryer and roll oil disposal shuttle under fryer until it stops. Make sure drain aligns with opening in shuttle.
  • Page 10 ODS-300 6. Display shows VAT EMTY, along with “YES NO”. Verify that vat is empty, and press √ button. 7. Display shows “CLN VAT COMPLETE”, along with “YES NO”. Once vat is clean, press √ button. 8. Display shows “MANUAL FILL POT”, followed by “VAT FULL”, along with “YES NO”.
  • Page 11 ODS-300 13. Turn pump handle rapidly (fast) in order to prime the pump and to get oil to flow through pump. To avoid damage to pump, this pump should be used for shortening only. Do not use for water or water-based liquids.
