If symptoms of poor performance develop, the following chart can be used as a guide to correct the problem.
When diagnosing problems with operation of the tool, always check that the hydraulic power source is supplying the
correct hydraulic flow and pressure to the tool as listed in the specifications. Use a flow meter known to be accurate.
Check the flow with the hydraulic oil temperature at least 80 ° F / 27° C.
SYMPTOM
Weld Shear does not operate.

TROUBLESHOOTING

CAUSE
Hydraulic power source not functioning.
Power unit models, couplers or hoses blocked.
Power unit models, hydraulic lines not connected.
Hand pump models, hydraulic pump failure.
Cylinder seal failure.
SOLUTION
Power unit models, check power source for
proper flow and pressure (3-10 GPM/11-38
LPM at 2000 psi/140 bar).
Locate and remove restriction.
Connect lines.
Locate and remove restriction.
Have inspected and repaired at an
authorized Stanley service center.
