HYDRAULIC SAFETY • Keep body and hands away from pin holes or nozzles that eject hydraulic fluid under high pressure. Use paper or cardboard and not hands to search for leaks. • Hydraulic fluid escaping under high pressure may have sufficient force to penetrate skin and cause serious injury.
BEFORE STARTING Check belts for: • Proper tension • Fraying and wear • Twisting • Cracking Check initial tension of the cutter blade drive belts. If belts are not properly tensioned, see Adjustments, page 6&7. Check oil levels in the engine and hydraulic reservoir.

ADJUSTMENTS (cont'd) Neutral Latch Steering Control Drive Position 3. Turn the swivel joint on the steering control rod until the swivel joint lines up in the center of the slot in the bellcrank. This will allow the control rod to be moved back when shifting out of neutral and not move the bellcrank.

ADJUSTMENTS (cont'd) The farther the adjustment bearing lever is moved away from the cam, the faster that side will drive.
