Replacing the optical drive holder

Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repairs before reading the Important Product
Information Guide.
1. Remove the monitor stand. See "Replacing the monitor stand" on page 20.
2. Remove the LCD panel. See "Removing the LCD panel" on page 22.
3. Disconnect the optical drive cable from the optical drive holder.
4. Replace the optical drive holder.

5. Connect the optical drive cable to the new optical drive holder.
6. Complete the replacement. See "Completing the parts replacement" on page 58.
