If you shoot without positioning the autofocus fiame
( tl ) on the main subject of the picture as shown above,
only the background will be in focus. When the main
subject is off the autofocus frame in the center of the
viewfinder, use the focus-lock technique.
( Focus lock is the function to lock foius.)
I Focus on the subject with the autofocus frame
( O ) .
When you wish to focus on the face, which appears
very small in the viewfinder, fbcus on the chest
instead to fill the focus frame with more of the
subiect.
When the shutterrelease button is depressedhalfway
down, the green lamp on the left-hand side of the
viewfinder lights up and the exposure and focus are
temporarily locked.
