    Safety Precautions Before cooking food or liquids in your microwave oven, please check that the following safety precautions are taken. DO NOT use any metallic cookware in the microwave oven: Metallic containers Dinnerware with gold or silver trimmings Skewers, forks, etc.

    Result: The oven light comes on and the turntable starts rotating. Cooking starts and when it has finished the oven beeps four times. Never switch the microwave oven on when it is empty. If you wish to heat a dish for a short period of time at maximum power(900W), simply press the +30s button once for each 30 seconds of cooking time.

This can be of great advantage, if unexpected guests suddenly show up. Frozen poultry must be thoroughly thawed before cooking. Remove any metal ties and take it out of any wrapping to allow thawed liquid to drain away.
