Description Indoor Fan Motor Abnormality
Supposed Cause 1. Indoor fan motor winding short, or the motor lead wire broken.
2. Indoor PCB faulty.

Supposed Cause 1. Thermistor, connector faulty.
2. Indoor PCB faulty.
Troubleshooting
Check the thermistor connector
*Remark:
Refer Thermistor resistance check procedure in Appendix A (Item 1, page 32).
Turn off power supply and
rotate fan by hand.
Does it rotate?
Yes
Check fan motor connector
condition.
Does it connect
properly?
Yes
Change PCB and turn on
power.
No
Change fan motor.
condition.
Normal?
Yes
Check thermistor resistance
value.
Normal?
Replace indoor PCB.

Service Diagnosis
Change fan motor.
Connect correctly.
Correct the connection.
