Use the navigation key to select:

Flip open, 30 seconds, 15 seconds, or 8 seconds for the Main
Display.
•
Flip open, 30 seconds, 15 seconds, 8 seconds or Off for Keypad.
•
On or Off for Pwr Save Mode. Turning on the power save mode will
slow down the user interface response in order to conserve power.

Note: Long backlight settings reduce the battery's talk and standby times.
You can change the brightness of the LCD screens, making them brighter or
dimmer.
To change the LCD Contrast:

You can change the contrast settings for the front LCD display to suit your needs.
To change the sub LCD contrast:
