From the Home screen, press

Touch the double arrow icon to the right of Normal.

Touch the Pull down menu and select Phone.

Touch the Keypad tone drop-down and select one of the following tones:

• Beep
• Glossy
Touch the Power-on type field, select one of the following and touch Save:

• Melody: the phone plays the selected Power-on melody.
• Vibration: the phone vibrates two times but does not play a melody.
• Vibration and melody: the phone vibrates and plays a melody simultaneously.
• Mute: the phone is silent and does not play a melody or vibrate.
Touch the Power-off type field, select one of the following and touch Save:

• Melody: the phone plays the selected Power-off melody.
• Vibration: the phone vibrates two times but does not ring.
• Vibration and melody: the phone vibrates and plays a melody simultaneously.
• Mute: the phone is silent and does not play a melody or vibrate.
Touch the Phone sound volume slide bar, then touch and drag the slider to the volume level you desire (range

is 0-7).
Touch Save to return to the Sound profiles menu.

Silent
Silent mode is convenient when you wish to stop the phone from making noise, in a theater for example. All sounds
are muted when the phone is set to Silent mode.
From the Home screen, press

Touch Silent. All sound tones are now changed to Silent.
