Bluetooth Hands-Free Device

Pair the SGH-i907 and the Bluetooth Hands-free device.

To designate the device as a Hands-free device, select and

hold the device in the list, then select Set as Hands-free in
the pop-up menu.
Using Bluetooth Hands-Free Device
Some or all of the features below are available when using your
Bluetooth Hand-free device.
– Voice recognition using the built-in "Voice Commands"
application.
– Last number redial
– Call holding and call switching
– Caller ID display
– End a call
– Switching to a private call
Note: For specific information about the features available with your Hands-
free device, refer to the user manual.

Bluetooth Virtual Serial Port

There are many Bluetooth wireless technology devices that
support the Bluetooth serial profile, such as GPS. You can use the
SGH-i907 Bluetooth virtual serial port to make Bluetooth serial
connection with such devices.
Setting Bluetooth Virtual Serial Port
Create a Bluetooth bond between your SGH-i907 and the

device you want to use. For information on creating a
bond, see "Pairing" on page 110.
If the device supports the serial port profile, this message,

"(Device) support synchronizing using Bluetooth. Would you
like to designate it as an ActiveSync partner?" displays.
Select No if you don't want to make an ActiveSync

connection via the Bluetooth Virtual Serial Port.
After establishing a bond with the device, select New

Outgoing Port on the COM Ports tab under Bluetooth
settings.
