Reading a Short Message

The Short Message Services (SMS) allow you to be
reached if your phone is busy or if you do not want to
be disturbed by a phone call. This short text message
(up to 160 characters) can be received, displayed,
edited or sent.
When the short message memory is full, the
flashes. To save memory space, delete old message.
Example: You are expecting an urgent answer while
you are in a meeting but do not want the
phone to disrupt the meeting by ringing.
The Short Message Services are only available if you specified
this option when you took out your subscription with the
network operator.
1. In Standby mode, press MENU to
enter the menu system.
Result: The first menu appears.
2. Press 0, 2 to access the
sub-

menu.
3. Press „ or
to scroll through the
available messages.
• You must display each
message entirely before
moving to another one.
• The more recent messages are
always displayed first.
• The number of messages that
can be stored depends on your
SIM card.
4. When the required message is
displayed, press
