Calling in Lock Mode
You can place calls to 911 and to your special
numbers when in lock mode. (For information on
special numbers, see "Using Special Numbers" on
page 59.)
To call an emergency number or special number,
enter the phone number and press

Using Special Numbers

Special numbers are important numbers that you have
designated as being "always available." You can call
and receive calls from special numbers even if your
device is locked. You can save up to three special
numbers in addition to your Contacts entries (the same
number may be in both directories).
1.
Press
> Settings > Personal > Phone.
2.
Touch the
tab.
Security
3.
Touch
Emergency Call
4.
Touch one of the available locations from the
onscreen list:
Tap here to register

Enter the new number.

Touch
to complete the process and return to

the previous page where you will now see your
newly added phone number.

to assign the new numbers.

to reset the device.

Using Encryption

The encryption feature is used with files stored on the
optional microSD™ card to make them readable only
on your device.

> Settings > System > Encryption.

checkmark and enable the feature.
