Section 6: Contacts

This section explains how to use and manage your Contacts.

Using the Contacts List

Use the following procedures to store a new contact to your phone.
Storing a Number in the Phone's Memory
The default storage location for saving phone numbers to your Contacts is your phone's built-in memory.
In Idle mode, press Menu

Enter a first name in the First name field. Press the Down key to tab to the next text box.

Enter a last name in the Last name field.

Use the Up or Down Navigation key to enter numbers or text in the following fields: Mobile, Home, Work,

Others, Email, Group, Picture ID, Ringtone, Birthday, Address, and Notes.
Press the Options soft key to:

• Select language: allows you to select English or Français as the language with which to display your contact.
• Add more fields: allows you to add a nickname, an additional Email address, a URL, DTMF, Group, and additional
address fields.
• Delete field: allows you to delete additional fields created with the Add more fields option.
• Cancel: cancels the Add new contact operation and returns to the Contacts menu.
Press Save to save your selections. The number saves to your selected destination and the new contact

Finding a Contact Entry

You can store phone numbers and their corresponding names in the phone's built-in memory (Contacts).
In Idle mode, press Menu
