S1 Battery Pack
Important Safety Instructions
Please read and keep all safety and use instructions.
WARNINGS/CAUTIONS:
• This accessory is for use with the Bose S1 Pro
Multi-Position PA system only.
• The battery provided with this product may present a risk of fire or chemical
burn if mishandled.
• Do NOT expose products containing batteries to excessive heat (e.g. from
storage in direct sunlight, fire, or the like).
• Risk of fire and burns. Do NOT open, crush, heat above 45°C (113°F) or
incinerate. Follow manufacturer's instructions.
• Only use genuine Bose batteries with this product. Contact Bose customer
service for replacement batteries.
Regulatory Information
Charging temperature range: 0°C - 42°C (32°F - 108°F)
Discharging temperature range: –20°C - 45°C (–4°F - 113°F)
Please dispose of used batteries properly, following local regulations. Do not
incinerate.
This symbol means the product must not be discarded as household waste,
and should be delivered to an appropriate collection facility for recycling.
Proper disposal and recycling helps protect natural resources, human health,
and the environment. For more information on disposal and recycling of this
product, contact your local municipality, disposal service, or the shop where
you bought this product.
Installation Instructions
This optional battery is for use when AC power is not readily available.
Unplug the S1 Pro and make sure the power is switched to Standby (

2. Turn S1 Pro upside down; unscrew two screws and remove bottom plate. See
Figure 2 and Figure 3.
3. Seat battery into designated holster so connector pins line up appropriately. See
Figure 4 and Figure 5.
CAUTION: Battery should easily slide into holster. Do NOT force battery into
holster. If battery is difficult to insert, rotate 180° before trying again.
4. Replace bottom plate over battery and secure with two screws. See Figure 6 and Figure 7.
Sleep Mode
Your S1 Pro battery accessory will be shipped in Sleep mode. Your battery will be
unusable until woken from Sleep mode. To wake your battery from Sleep mode, plug
your S1 Pro into AC power and switch your S1 Pro to On ( ) after proper installation
(see "Installation Instructions" above).
Note: Your battery will return to Sleep mode if not used for 30 consecutive days.
CAUTION: Make sure your battery is fully charged before storing for more
than 30 days.
Charging the Battery
Anytime your S1 Pro is plugged into AC power and the system is not in use, the battery
is charging.
