Overview

The AJ-YDX30G (hereafter "this board") is a video encoder board for a memory card camera recorder
(hereafter "P2 cam").
If proxy data cannot be recorded even when this board is installed correctly, then firmware update on
the main unit may be necessary.

Features

Installation of this board enables recording of high resolution proxy video.
Material filmed with the P2 cam can be made into compressed data files and recorded in an area
separate from the material.
Supported formats for video recording include MPEG4 as well as the high resolution H.264/AVC, and
for audio recording, AAC as well as uncompressed audio (LPCM) are supported.
For file formats, selection of the traditional MP4 format is also possible in addition to the MOV format
that allows non-linear editing. An audiovisual file and a real-time metadata file (time code, user's bit and
UMID information) can be recorded simultaneously in a P2 card and an SD memory card.
Filmed material can be recorded as data files of a smaller size than the original materials, allowing
checking of clips or editing to be done effectively.
