    General information 500W Hedge Trimmer Reading and storing the instruction manual This instruction manual accompanies this hedge trimmer. It contains important information on setup and handling. Before using the hedge trimmer, read the instruction manual carefully. This particularly applies to the safety notes. Failure to follow the contents of this instruction manual may result in severe injury or damage to the hedge trimmer.

The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage caused by improper or incorrect usage. Please note that our equipment has not been designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial applications.

Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce the risk of electric shock. −Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators.

    Assembly 500W Hedge Trimmer Assembly WARNING! Always take care when removing the packaging to prevent damage to you or to the hedge trimmer. Before taking the hedge trimmer out of the packaging, check all the parts indicated in the manual are in the box.

    Operation 500W Hedge Trimmer Operation Switching on/off 1. Remove the blade cover (9) from the cutting device (2) (FIG D). 2. Hold the product with the right hand at the rear handle and with the left hand at the front handle. 3.

Replace worn parts as necessary or contact After Sales Support for repair before using the product again. 5. Regularly check for obvious defects such as loose, dislodged or damaged cutting device, loose fixings and worn or damaged components.
  • Page 27 Maintenance 500W Hedge Trimmer 2. Apply a small amount of suitable lubricant along the edge of the cutting device to retain a good cutting performance. 3. Keep the cutting blade sharp. Have a worn or damaged cutting device replaced with a new one of the same type by a qualified specialist.

Connect the blue wire to the terminal marked N (Neutral) or coloured black. The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured red.
