Operation:
The safety belt inertia reel stops
the belt from unw inding fu rthe r in
case o f vehicle deceleration in any
direction or if the belt is pulled out
quickly.
Functional test:
The locking function o f the inertia
reel can be tested by braking, driv
ing around a bend or by pulling the
belt o ut quickly.
Note:
No safety belt can be used fo r more
than one person. Belts are not in
tended fo r children.
Anchoring points fo r a child seat
are provided.
A fte r an accident, inspect the
safety belts and replace them , if re
quired. The belt anchors in the
vehicle should also be checked.
Renew damaged belt w ebbing.
Belt w ebbing m ust not be routed
via sharp edges.
No m odifications w hich may a ffe ct
the efficiency o f the belts m ust
be made.
