Ending dockside setup

Dockside setup is complete when you have satisfactorily carried out the initial setup
procedures and correctly set the:
Depth offset.
Water temperature.
Magnetic variation.
Ground wind calculation method.
Response rate.
When Dockside setup is complete, return to the operational page, then carry out a

Seatrial calibration.

2.2 Seatrial calibration
WARNING: Ensure you have sufficient sea room for calibration
The seatrial calibration maneuvers require a sufficiently clear area of
water. Ensure you are not likely to collide with any vessel or obstruction
during calibration.
When the dockside calibration procedures are complete, navigate to a place where
you have plenty of sea room then carry out the seatrial calibration procedures. These
set the ST70 instrument so it gives an optimum performance with the system
transducers. The seatrial calibration comprises:
Wind calibration & alignment.
Speed calibration.
When you have completed the appropriate seatrial procedures, proceed to Return to
normal operation.
