    Congratulations on your purchase of the Schwinn MPower™ Echelon2 console! The Echelon2 con- sole will add measurements to your Schwinn AC bike for an enhanced riding and training expe- rience. The console and optional power upgrade is compatible with all Schwinn A.C.™ models of bikes.

    Console Operation Before Beginning a Ride • If you want to record ride data onto a USB stick, insert a FAT32 formatted USB 2.0 or later stick into the USB drive before powering up the console. NOTE: If the USB stick is not 2.0 or later and formatted with the FAT32 format, it may not record data. •...

Schwinn added this functionality to allow instructors to get off the bike and coach off the bike while trusting their timers will remain in sync with all the riders in the room.

This enables riders to quickly check to verify the sensor is still calibrated without having to navigate through the service menu.
