Press lever ; in the radiator trim and
allow it to engage.
Coolant

WARNING
The cooling system is pressurised. There-
fore, do not unscrew the cap before the
engine has cooled down. Wait for a cooling
period of at least 30 minutes. Otherwise,
you could be scalded if hot coolant escapes.
Coolant consists of water and antifreeze or
corrosion inhibitor. Further notes can be

Only check the coolant level when the vehi-
cle is on a level surface.
Pay attention to the "Important safety

notes" (
page 15).
Checking the coolant level
The coolant expansion tank for cooling the
battery and drive is located in the front
compartment on the left when viewed in the
direction of travel.

Let the coolant cool down for at least
30 minutes.

Open the service flap (

Check the reservoir visually.
The fluid level must be between MIN and
MAX.
Topping up the coolant

Cover cap : of coolant expansion
tank ; with a cloth.

Slowly turn cap : by half a turn anti-
clockwise to allow excess pressure to
escape.

Turn cap : further anti-clockwise and
remove it.
X
Do not exceed the maximum filling level
when adding coolant.

Screw on cap : tightly.
Windscreen washer system
The washer fluid reservoir is located in
the front compartment on the left-hand
side of the vehicle when viewed in the
direction of travel. The recommended min-
imum amount when topping up is 1 litre.
