PREPARATIO~
Neckstrap
Thread the tips of the neck strap through the
corresponding rings on the camera so that
the tips are on the insid e. Then adjust the
neekstrap to the le ngth most comfortable
for you.
Plastic Insert
Pull up the film r e wi nd k nob to open th e
camera's back cover. R emove the plastic
inser t, which is attached to t he pressure
plate, and snap the back cover shut. Th e
inser t is no longer necessary and may be
thrown away.

Eyecup 4S
This is an accesso ry ey ccup which snaps into
t.he eyepiece grooves . Its use is no t
mandatory, but viewing w ith it may be more
comfortable, and it helps blo ck extraneous
ligh t from entering the viewfinder.
Action Grip
The A-1 has a handy, b u ilt-in finger grip, but
t o make camera holding all t he easier,
it
comes with a detachable ac tion grip
as
well.
Before a ttac hing the grip, load the battery
into the cam era. T hen, using a coin, scr e w
the grip into t he action grip mounting soc ket
guided by the positioning pin on the front o f
the camera
body.
