3.2.5.6 Removing and Disassembling the Right Frame
1.
Remove the printer mechanism from the lower case, as described in Section 3.2.4.

Remove the platen from the printer mechanism, as described in Section 3.2.5.5.

Remove the carriage motor from the base frame, as described in Section 3.2.5.1.
4.
Remove the 4 CBS(C) (M3 X 10) screws that secure the right frame to the base frame. Remove the
right frame from the base frame.
5.
Remove the following items from the right frame in this order: paper advance motor, tractor clutch cam,
cog (8.5 mm, 30 mm), cog (40 mm), plain washer, spring (20 gm), and cog (16 mm).
3.2.5.7 Removing and Disassembling the Left Frame
Remove the printer mechanism from the lower case, as described in Section 3.2.4.

Remove the platen from the printer mechanism, as described in Section 3.2.5.5.
3.
Remove the timing belt from the mechanism.
4.
Follow the instructions on removing the carnage, as described in Section 3.2.5.4, except for step 5.

Remove the platen gap sensor.
5.
Remove the 4 CBS(C) (M3 X 10) screws that secure the left frame to the base frame. Remove the
left frame from the base frame.
