    user guide Coding instructions: Important : The remote control/Receiver for this appliance comes pre-coded for your convenience and does not require to be re-coded after changing batteries in the hand held. As long as there is 120 volt power to the appliance and a 9 volt battery in the remote handset this will operate as normal.
