k . Adjust A 1 7L8 for the maximum possible marker amplitude.
5·28. First Crystal Stage Adjustment
a. DO NOT TURN THE 3585A POWER OFF. Move test jumper A17J4 to the "OP"
position and test jumber A 1 7J5 to the "T" position . Remove the PC extender and replace
the A 1 7 board back in the card nest.
b . Set the 3585A controls for:
c. Adjust A 1 7C70 so that the A trace approximates a straight, horizontal line.
d . Set the 3585A controls for:
e. Adjust A 17C29 for the best possible trace symmetry.
5·29. Second LC Stage Adjustment
a. DO NOT TURN THE 3585A POWER OFF. Remove the A 1 7 board and place it on a
PC extender. Move test jumper A 1 7J5 to the "OP" positon and test jumper A 1 7J2 to the
"T" position.
b. Set the 3585A controls for:
c. Adjust A 1 7L5 so that the A trace approximates a straight, horizontal line.
